Spring is here and it is time for our first Open House/Bazaar at the FEED Kitchens. The event will be this coming Saturday, April, 5, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Kitchens, 1219 N. Sherman Avenue.
What will you find there? FOOD of course! Many of the FEED users will be there to share their products with you, and even sell you some if you like what you see and taste.
This is also a good chance to see what our community has built, and to consider what YOU might want to bake/pickle/can/cook in the kitchens, either for a new food business or for personal use. We've had people planning to have all their friends join them for a canning party when tomatoes come in, a woman looking at making lots of granola all at once for herself and family, and someone talking about cooking for a whole week with her friends.
We would love to see all of your smiling faces here, and we would really love if you could help to spread the word about the event. Bring a friend or a family member, and help us celebrate this beautiful place.
This is the first in what we hope to be a quarterly event to showcase the work being done in the FEED Kitchens and to help you envision what you might do here yourself.
