BLACK TIE BINGO FUNDRAISER TO HELP North/Eastside Senior Coalition (NESCO)

6:00 p.m. Social hour with free hors d'oeuvres, a cash bar and the opportunity to bid on some great silent auction items. Bingo at 7:00 with a $100 prize per game. Come dressed in formal attire (suit and black tie or a dress) if you so desire.

SEED STARTING AND PLANNING

1:30–3 pm

Organized by Community GroundWorks. In this hands-on, family friendly presentation, you will hear about Lakeview’s seed library, learn strategies for garden planning, and practice methods for effective seed starting.

WARNER PARK VISIONING MEETING
Wednesday, April 29, 2015 at Warner Park Community Recreation Center
6–8 pm

This is a large-scale community meeting to launch the Warner Park “visioning” process. We will discuss a vision of what Warner Park should look like in the next 20–30 years.

VISUAL EXPRESSIONS PUBLIC RECEPTION
Saturday, May 2, 2015 at VSA Wisconsin 1709 Aberg Ave.
2–4 pm

Nearly 230 two and three-dimensional works of art by artists with disabilities will be on view. Some artwork is for sale and many artists will be on hand to discuss their work. More information at www.vsawis.org or 241-2131.
