Some Sherman Neighbors may know our friends at Very Special Arts on Sherman Ave and Aberg Ave. VSA Wisconsin was founded 34 years ago as Very Special Arts Wisconsin, an affiliate of Very Special Arts at the Kennedy Center. They are taking the next step as an organization, changing their name to better reflect the work that VSA does in Wisconsin.
VSA will open their Reveal Ceremony for their renaming to the public at 3 PM on August 25, 2019. There will be a join performance of VSA's Madison Choir and the Madison Youth Choirs, a silent art auction, gallery exhibit, and screen printing.
