There are several development proposals in the hopper for Sherman Neighborhood:

Oscar Mayer Special Area Plan: The redevelopment of OM has a substantial impact to our entire city, but the entirety of the property is within the Sherman Neighborhood Association boundaries, so we have a special interest. 2830 Dryden Drive: A proposed new apartment development called Prism, proposed by the Bruns Family who currently owns the Northside Town Center. Click here for documents submitted so far. This proposal is for market-rate apartments with a host of green and renewable features. The proposal was featured in the Wisconsin State Journal in August 2019.

1212 Huxley Apartment Complex: a proposed 110-unit apartment building located near the North Transfer Point. As of 10/2019, the developers have submitted their land use application. Click here for documents submitted so far. This proposal is a mix of affordable and senior housing.
